About Rotate PDF Pages
Rotate PDF Pages turns pages of a PDF by 90° clockwise, 180°, or 90° counter-clockwise. Leave the page field empty to turn the whole document, or list pages and ranges such as 2, 5-7, or 8- to turn only those. The angle is added to each page's current orientation, so a page that was already turned keeps turning the way you ask. Only the page's rotation setting changes; text and pictures are not redrawn. One angle applies per run. pdf-lib applies the turn in your browser.
How to rotate pages in a PDF
- 1Choose the PDF.
- 2Click "90° clockwise", "180°", or "90° counter-clockwise".
- 3Leave "Pages" empty for every page, or list the pages to turn.
- 4Click "Rotate PDF": the pages you listed come out turned in the -rotated.pdf file under "Download".

Where your file is processed
The rotation is written by pdf-lib in your browser and your PDF is not sent to our servers. Only the rotation value of each chosen page changes; a PDF with print or copy restrictions is decrypted in your browser first, so the rotated copy carries none, and a PDF that asks for a password to open is refused.
Frequently asked questions
Can I rotate only one page?
Yes. Type its number in Pages, for example 4, and only that page turns. To turn other pages a different way, run the tool again on the downloaded file with another angle and page list.
Does the angle replace a page's current rotation?
No. The angle you choose is added to its current orientation. A page displayed at 90° and turned 90° clockwise again ends up at 180°, upside down from where it started; choose 90° counter-clockwise to bring it back instead.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. The tool only changes each page's rotation setting; the text, vector drawings, and pictures inside are not redrawn or recompressed, so nothing is lost at any of the three angles.
