Text Repeater
Repeat text multiple times
About Text Repeater
Text Repeater copies a word, a line, or a whole paragraph a chosen number of times, from 1 to 100, and joins the copies with a new line, a space, a comma followed by a space, or nothing at all. It is handy for test data, for filling a field to check its limit, or for building a repeated pattern. The text is repeated exactly as typed, line breaks included. There is no custom separator, and a count outside 1 to 100 is refused with a message. All copies are joined on your device, not on a server.
Example
Repeat count 3 with the Comma separator: each comma is followed by a space.
Text
Hip hip hooray!
Result
Hip hip hooray!, Hip hip hooray!, Hip hip hooray!

Where your text is processed
The copies are joined by one line of JavaScript in this page, so your text stays in your browser and is never transmitted. A count outside the allowed range shows a red message on the page, which is not sent anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
How many times can I repeat a text?
100 times at most, and at least once. A count of 0, a decimal, or a number above 100 is refused with the message Enter a whole number of repetitions from 1 to 100, and no result is made.
Can I use my own separator, such as a semicolon?
No. Only the four presets exist. Choose New line, copy the result, then replace the line breaks with your separator in your editor. With None the copies touch each other, leaving no boundary to replace.
Is there a space after the comma?
Yes. Comma joins the copies with a comma and a space, as in a, a, a. To get copies without that space, end your own text with a comma, pick None, then delete the comma left at the very end.
Tips and tricks
